Meet the Founders

abhas gupta.jpg

I've spent my entire career in healthcare, spanning roles in clinical medicine, management consulting, and venture capital. I've watched my parents and countless others face healthcare that is rushed, ineffective, and expensive. I co-founded Calyx Health to change all that—to build the healthcare system our parents deserve and our country urgently needs.

Abhas received his M.D. from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine where he also completed the Ph.D. core curriculum; he holds a B.S. in Computational Biology from Brown University.

After working in academia, industry, and government, I co-founded Calyx Health to apply my computer science knowledge to one of society's most pressing problems: providing affordable, quality healthcare to those who need it most. Technology, seamlessly coupled with clinical operations, can dramatically improve both the experience and care that patients receive.  I'm excited to tackle this difficult but impactful challenge.

Kevin received his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; he holds a B.S. in Mathematics-Computer Science and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University.
